Kate is a fully qualified Foot Health Practitioner and Registered Nurse with 37 years’ of experience.

She is a registered Member of the British Association of Foot Health Professionals (MAFHP), Member of the College of Foot Health Professionals (MCFHP) and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). 

Kate has qualified through the SMAE Institute which was founded in 1919 and has a reputation for excellence. Full Public Liability insurance is provided through the SMAE institute.

Kate established Franks Footcare after a successful career in the NHS, working in community and hospital settings across Portsmouth and South East Hampshire, where she enjoyed a variety of nursing roles. Now wanting to enjoy more time for herself and her family, she is passionate about helping all ages so that they can enjoy life to the full! 

Frank is Kate’s late dad who provided the idea and encouragement to set up her own business.  He had a vision for what could be done and confidence in his daughter, Kate, to deliver it successfully. Frank had a reputation for hard work and high standards that is evident in the business that bears his name.
